I started learning piano at the age of four, and have been playing ever since. I spent eight years studying under the late Charles Aschbrenner of Hope College, winning multiple awards and accolades growing up. I'm classically trained but have interests musically in a wide variety of styles such as ragtime, jazz, blues, etc. I've taught adults and children alike for about twenty years now.
Once upon a time I also was in a rock band touring the country as well, playing piano and synthesizer. Between that and my own endeavors with piano, I've performed for thousands across multiple states. Please contact me for special event or lesson inquires!
Piano is just one part of me however, I consider myself a lifelong learner! I hold multiple degrees in different disciplines, including computer programming & political science. In my free time, I love to read, travel, and spend time on projects around the house.
My family and I moved to Greenville, MI in 2021 after spending the ten years prior in Grand Rapids.
